Which temp sensor is which?

Okay, I just did a header installation and like a dumb *** broke the temp sensors on both sides. I think they are temp sensors ayways. I'm not sure which sensor goes to what. I have the one on the passenger side on the block near the oil pan plugged in. I need to plug in the one near the 3rd cylinder back passenger side directly under the header.. What is it's name? I also need the one on the drivers side directly below the headers I think number 2 cylinder. I need it's name also and what it controls.

Re: Which temp sensor is which?

The one on the passengers side is the cooling fan switch. As the name states it turns on the cooling fan. The one on the drivers side is just a coolant temp sensor and thats the one for your gauge/light. Pretty cheap sensors!
