Email Notification

I am not receiving email notification for all of the threads that I post on and/or subscribed to. I DO receive some; just not anywhere near all of them. Because I receive some, it lets me know that all of my information is correct. I can go a couple of days without coming to the board. Then, when I do, I found out that there are many posts on the threads that I am also on. However, I was never emailed. I have not changed anything whatsoever since the 'old' system was in place. But, I have only experienced this problem since the changeover.

I received an email notification for a thread that I had replied to this morning. I was browsing the rest of the board and found two more threads that had been replied to multiple times over the past few days. I never received ANY notification on those. WTF? I have emailed the 'webmaster' or whatever you call it. They never have responded.

5/18/2006 10:24 AM was the last email I received from you that was addressed to the webmaster.

I had replied to your initial email message. You may recall because your initial message asked why the old system allowed file uploads to the message board while the "new" system did not, as you claimed. As you may recall, you was mistaken because the "new" system does allow file uploads to the message board.

You also went on to ask if the system wasn't "advanced enough" to remember your login, because you stated you aren't remembered when you revisit the "new" TGO forums. As I replied to your message, it sounded as if there was a corrupt cookie in your browser.

In regard to your email notification, I'll send Jason a note about it, but it is quite possible there is a delivery issue between the server and charter (your provider), which may not be something we can do anything about. ISPs aren't always known for having reliable email systems.

Fair Enough. However, before you suggest that my ISP is the problem, you should know that out of the 7 message boards that I am an active member of, this is the only one that I have the problem with. Not to mention that, I did not have the problem with the old server. Anyway, I appreciate the fact that you are looking into the matter. Thank you.
