need help on this one

Hi , I have a 91 tpi 350. Lately after the car warms up it runs like crap. The car has the hypertech thermomaster and a 160 degree stat. The car runs really good if you drive it normally ,but the Car really chokes under acceleration. Feels like something is clogging it up. No, it is not my cat converters either. Injectors are new too. Ohmed them again. No trouble codes either. Now, the other day i tried the resistor trick by putting a 4.7 k resistor in the AIT sensor under the plenum. (tells the engine that it is cold all the time, thus richening up the mixture)OK, It worked, then after after about twenty min of driving ,i went to pass someone ,floored the car again and all of a sudden the problem got ten times worse! Ok, so then i took the resistor out and all of a sudden it ran good again under acceleration. WTF? Drove it today and it ran great under acceleration until the car warmed up and it started running like garbage again. Does this sound like a bad sensor somewhere? I cant help but think it is a problem with my air/fuel mixture. This has had me stumped for about six months.
