I dont feel like making my own, so where is a good place to buy them from? I tried the DYI board but no luck... please help me out! off to find the missing lap top!

Nobody makes one that I know of. WinALDL is a shareware and the cables are basically a DIY. I know you don't want to build one but it is not that hard. Everything you need Radio Shack has. I hard wired a serial plug at the ALDL for ease of connection and used a 25ft cable to reach to my PC with serial plugs on each end. I also put the circuit inside a small project box and incorporated the resistors with aditional switches to change between modes with the flip of a switch. It also has a LED to indicate the 12V supply.
