Has anyone herd about Rex Orr @ ASCD passing away? I talked to a buddy who lives close to the company to check on a hood. He told me that they where not taking any new orders at this time. I understand but this is the first I have learned of Rex's death.

Holy crud!! I just talked to him a few months ago, That sux.....

Wow...that's really sad. I met him when I got my hood and him, myself and my dad talked for almost an hour. He seemed to be a really good guy.

he was an amazing guy... helped me out with so much! i never met him in person but wish i had! i had no idea... this is very upsetting. thank you for posting this!

This is sad news, Im real sorry to hear this. Rex was a great guy! Had contact with him many times and have sent many customers his way over the years.

I know this is late, but wow i completely missed that. I always wondered what happened to Rex and the hood raffles...now i know. That is pretty sad.

ok so i'm late too and this really sucks i was wondering why i hadn't seen any posts, add to that i need an ss hood....bad times

I would like to know if they are up and running yet. I was going to buy my hood through them because there are local and make good hoods.

Chevy, I would just call them. I think their website still says not accepting orders but wouldn't hurt to call. IF you do and find something out please post back here so the masses know.

I'll have to call them. I've wanted to get the LT1 style ramair hood for my '92. I'll just have to see what the future holds.....

Im curious, anyone heard anything from ASCD or Stinger lately? Ive heard that they havent been returning emails and such. Just looking for some updates on if anyone has tried dealing with them lately.
