Need wheel help!!!

OK. I'm putting a set of 17's on my car this summer. If I stay with x8 rims, would a +14mm offset with 5in backspacing be fine for all around. The rims has a centercap that covers the lugs and allows the hub to poke through, so I think the +14 should be fine so I can rotate all around. What do you guys think???? Thanks alot.
