I had some surface rust on the top of the cab on my Sierra, so I sanded it all down & put primer on, well surface rust keeps coming back through the primer. Is there anyway I can keep this from happening its really getting annoying.

Thanks,

primmer is porrus(sp). it has pores all over it which allow water in. what you should do is sand it, prime it, and the get a good surface primer or sealer and that should solve your problem.

Don't ya just hate that.
you should bare metal the area & use a 2PAK primer, most primers let moisture in, then top coat it as soon as you can.
Some 2pak primers can be left in the weather for weeks but I would top coat ASAP. Just be carefull if you use 2 pak coz they can kill ya!
