The lens to my gauge cluster is discolored in spots. It has a white cloudy look in these spots. Someone told me that I can polish it with blue magic metal polish (I think that's what he said). Has anyone tried this or anything like it.

I've used Simichrome (sp?) and it works well. Knowing better now, I'd use plastic-specific polish like Novus.

mine was extremely spotted. took out the plastic and polished it w/ toothpaste. it was midnight one night and had no "real" polish so instead of waiting till morning i just used toohpaste, worked real well.

Thanks everyone, I had some mothers and it worked great. Looks like new, if only the rest of the car did. Paint job coming soon.
