Rain and shine wreaking havoc on finish - how to protect?

My IROC has a really crappy MAACO type paint job that looked really good when I bought it, but it's been giving me a lot of trouble with fading and oxidation. I've already rubbed the entire car down once with Turtle Wax Restorative polish. It took off a lot a lot of the dead paint and left a nice smooth mirror-like finish. I finished it off with McGuire's wax and since then it hasn't given me much trouble, provided I wash and wax the car atleast once in two weeks. The paint is also really sensitive to the sun and rain. If I don't wash it for like 2 weeks and it rains sometime in between, the paint gets all these stains and all the spots which were badly faded before begin to reappear. It takes a lot of judicious waxing to get rid of those stains and the faded marks. Lately, however, the badly faded spots are beginning to show more and more and the stains are becoming tougher to remove. Needless to say, the half-@ssed paint job on it is also a very high-maintenance one and I'm getting sick and tired of spending 2-3 hours every week on making it look decent.

Does anybody know of any product out there that seals the paint from all that harmful crap that the elements dish out? I mean my car's paint is so sensitive I can't even use car shampoo, only water. I need some heavy duty protectant or something to make my life a bit easier. I was told McGuires would protect the paint but I'm not impressed with it. Sure, the paint looks wet for the rest of the week after I wax it with McGuires, but I'm looking for something that will protect my paint from fading and staining when the sun suddenly somes out after a shower. As long as I dry the car quickly before the water evaporates by itself, the only problem I have is that the paint looks dry and all the small scratches and imperfection that the wax hides start showing up.

I just got some of this stuff works pretty good. Since its still winter here I did my black truck with it. Took about an hour and shinned right up. As you know its hard to clean black trucks. This stuff is pretty cheap to only $18. This stuff would make your cleaning easier and protect alot better than turtle wax.
