how do you wet sand t-tops?

Hey I have the lexan T-tops and well I was wondering how do i get scratches out and polish them up?

I'd polish them just like i'd sand and buff an automotive paint finish.
I would wet sand the scratches out with 1500 grit paper and water. Might want to start with 1000 then step up to 1500 depending on how deep the scratches are. then use an electric buffer and compound to polish them back up. I use ''Perfect it III'' by 3M. There are other products you can use that are sold at any auto parts store that will work just as well.
You can hand buff if you don't have a buffer, but it's a workout.

I have never seen anyone be able to save a set of those lexan tops. I do know people that did alot of sanding then painted them a high gloss black, waited a day then cleared them. looked like very clean dark tinted glass ones.
