Has anyone ever adapted/grafted a leather shift boot onto the Camaro automatic floor console?

I know there's not a whole lot of side to side area but I think MOMO has a narrower leather boot kit. For that matter, has anyone switched a Trans-AM center console into a Camaro without it looking out of place?
