Has anyone tried to put a firebird radio pod in a comaro with a 4th gen console.Can't this be done???

I know this won't answer your question. DO you have to change the radio pod when you do the swap. Is the wiring hard if there is any or do you just have to put the air controls and radio in their sopts. I know on the 97-present camaros the radio is abov ethe air controls so I might have to get a 93-96 center console and radio pod. If you can help please let me know. I have done searches and haven't found my answer. Thanks

That's exactly what I was thinking about. Not sure though, I need to go to a junk yard and find one to test it out...
its a piece of cake in a firebird the 3rd. gen. radio pod stays!But the camaros is a diffrent story?The wireing for the console is simple ,,just need to do the lighter and a light or two.unless you have power windows and/or mirrors. As for the pod I havn't had to remove one yet but I'm sure someone here has .Still has anyone tried this??
