I thought there had to be an easy way to clean and polish the wheel caps and nut caps on a trans am. So, I took them off and put them in the dish washer. When finished and dried, I cleaned and polished them with a plastic polish. Came up MAGIC. Hope that helps.
If anyone in my house knew how many parts I've put through the dishwasher over the years, they wouldn't use the plates!
