A friend at a tow yard has an 86 TA for sale for about $100 bucks. The only thing that I don't get is the engine. The body has the gfx on it. Would I be able to take all the body off and put it on my 82 TA body?

sure i dont see why not. from what i have seen there are only minor diffrences in third gen birds and it's all interchangeable. for a while i was thinking about putting a 92 nose cone on my 89 but that died out.

You can do it but you will need to drill all the holes for the GFX.If you are changing the fenders and the doors then the only holes you will need to drill are it the rear quarter panals.

Maybe it would be smarter if I put a reply lol.

I think that's what im going to do, put everything on my car and drill in the quarter panels. Seems easier than just taking the GFX off and do more drilling.
