Non A/C heater box....

besides eBay where can I find a non a/c heater box??????
I have looked around and just cant find one!
any help in the right direction would be much appriciated!

I found mine in a junk yard, it just happen to be the only 3rd gen in the whole yard with one in it. I lucked out. But i'm sure if you find a good junk yard, they will have one.

Dave sells them on his site whenever he gets some in stock. They go for around 80 bucks + shipping if I remember right. Also there has been talk of a member making fiberglass heater AC delete boxes. I'm kind of thinking about learning about molds so I can make one from my AC delete box I bought from Dave.

i made one for my 82....


i cut the stock AC airbox where it started to go "out" for the ac components... then i duct taped cardboard to it make the shape i wanted... then i overlayed fiberglass with it... its not hard, you just mix the 2 parts of resin, then wipe it all over the fiberglass...

once it dried, i just cut the holes for the coil resistors and had a fiberglass AC delete box, plus mine was a lil thinner then the factory AC box (still worked great.)
