wazzzzz up everybody. 91 Camaro r/s. I started to work on this back in June 03 until Oct 03. This was done on Mondays only. Scuffed up existing paint w/220.
Used a lacquer base primer, except for all the pastic.

Car had some clear coat peeling. Behind the tee tops were two rust spots about the size of a smoke dectector. Sanded that down to bare metal, feathered it in and then used primer.

Had mechanical work done on the car in the winter time but couldn't due anymore body work at that time. No garage.
If it doesn't run it doesn't matter how good it looks.

Here's my dilema!!!!!!! What are the chances that it sitting all winter that it is rusting under the primer?

Today I will wet sanding the whole car w/320 and will be sending it to be painted on this Tues. Better get Macco!!! I know what you are thinking, bad move., not really. Limited funds.
Seen some cars that were done there, they looked good. For $598.00 a sealer coat, enamel paint, clear coat and door jams.

If you rattle canned the primer it depends on what type of primer you were using and if you put more than one coat on. If you didn't cover the car and only used 1 or two layers on that spot it is likely but not 100% sure that you will have some rust coming back.
