Body moulding

Can anyone suggest a site where I can get a set ot the three piece rubber body moulding.

Hawks has used ones for $10 a piece ($60 for the whole set of 6 pieces).

I'm leaving mine off when I get the car painted....someday....

I'e leaving mine off too...especially after I just spent two weeks filling the old holes and making them smooth.

Well, that depends on which style you have. If you have the metal moulding with the rubber inserts (early style), the rubber strips will have to be pulled out and the rivets removed to take off the metal part. If you have the kind that are just put on with adhesive, you should be able to just pull them off, or use a razor knife to help seperate the adhesive backing.

I wouldnt recommend that though unless you are going to be repainting your car.

repainting (and color changing) very soon here... I have an '87.. would that have any indication? here is a pic (i know, ROUGH, but gimme time)

Yeah, you should be able to peel those pieces right off. It will probably leave alot of sticky stuff on the door that you will have to get off though.

If you cant peel them off at first, you can start it with a razor knife like I said before, and then grab ahold of it.
