I got into an accident and i needed a new door for my passenger side. Well the new door has a manual window and my car originally had power windows. My drive is still power. I was wondering if there was a way to some how remove the manual crank mechanism and put a motor on the existing window regulator. Is this possible or do i need to just get a hole new regulator?

Re: Power window
I'm pretty sure that you'll have to change the entire regulator assembly.

Yeah, the entire window regulator and motor has to be changed. The teeth on the regulator are different sizes.

Re: Power window
be ready for lot's of adjusting and tweaking . ( you may get lucky ) just take your time . it's not too bad to swap motor and regulator if both doors are off and you have room . good luck .
