i have a 91camaro rs with manual door locks that i want to change to electric. has anyone converted manual locks to electric with a conversion kit, or would i be better off getting a used door with electric locks.

the kit costs more than a j/y pull.
If you can find the set at a j/y I would say buy it.I wouldn't reccomend buying a complete door if you only need power locks.

i'm doing the same thing on my 91 as we speak. I have my harness all in, and ready to go, my question is tho, what is needed from the j/y car to do this. is it a lot of work? or is this an easy process??
