I have a fiberglass hood and finally have some time t work on it after it flew off the car. I have a couple of holes where the hood pins were at and was wondering what the best way was to fill them?
I was thinking of just pouring in fiberglass resin and letting it harden then sand. Any better ways? Thanks

pure resin will crack . grind & taper away from hole , apply mat & resin . apply as many layers as needed . let each layer cure before next layer . don't try to rush layers with more hardner . don't ask me how i know that . best to get material from a boat repair place , tell them your problem . most will be glad to give advice if you get their materials . good luck .

If you do what uncle tom said on the underneath side of the hood then apply a little bondo on top to smooth it all out and you're ready for primer.
Sweet thanks guys. I will do this
