What year rear bumpers fit an 86 z?

C'mon someone has to know what years the bumper changes were made.

any year will "fit". but as far as style goes, your z28 is the same from 85-90. unless its a sport coupe or berlinetta in 85-87. but z28, iroc, rs from 85-90 are all the same. rs didnt come back till 88 fyi

Thanks, I need to get one and I wanted to know what years would fit. I was looking at one from an 88 or 89 RS and it looked the same.

yeah that one will work.

Generally speaking, I break up the third gens this way. '82 to '84, '85 to '90, and '91 to '92. That is not to say that every thing is interchangeable on each subset, but just because you have, say a 1986, doesn't mean a question on an '88 does not pertain to your car.

yeah thats how just about everyone on this site breaks them down too...but i just went into more detail than that. and there are many features or aspects you cant always go by the way you just classified 3rdgens. thats just more useful for styling aspect. if not including sc or berlinetta which most forget
