Hey guys. I've run into a contemplation, I just bought half a z28/rs body kit with a bunch of other little stuff and I'm thinking about installing it on my 86 sports coupe. In having a hard time on deciding because you never see sport coups anymore, but also idk how hard its going to be to swap the body kit on. I'd like to hear some opinions from the guys who have added their gfx yo their cars. If I do install it, I think I'm going to rynoline the bottom of my car where the holes will be drilled and the ground effects will sit.

Re: installing ground effects
As you stated before, sports coupes, especially clean ones are never really seen anymore. For that reason I would leave the ground effects off. Having a sports coupe is something different from the typical ground effect car and leaving them off keeps the old car look sports coupes have. My opinions may be a little biased though. As far as installing, everything is straight forward once you drill the holes after taking measurements from a donor car. The only bit of fabrication that needs to be done is making L brackets or one large L bracket to weld onto the rockers to use the top screws of the rocker gfx.
