I am currently in the middle of shopping for all new parts for my 84 Z28 Camaro. I am not sure IF I should lower it or not. I already have a planned list of all the parts that I want because I am making my camaro into a one of a kind car that is in the inland northwest. These are my body parts that I am set on getting. So i need a helping hand in whether or not lowering a camaro will be beneficial to me. Would greatly appreciate the input

Re: Should I lower my Z28
I would be warey of buying parts that have pictures of a 4th gen in the description but claim to be for a 3rd gen (the side skirts).

Why don't you save yourself the $1000+ dollars, sell your thirdgen, and buy a 4th gen? That's basically the look you're going for with these mods.

The stinger nose was never very popular, the few that have had it on here end up regretting it/replacing it.

At the end of the day it's your car.

No opinion on lowering but think carefully before spending your cash on the body kits. All the bumper covers to fenders are molded in, and fiberglass and metal don't expand and contract at the same rate. Also, you'll end up with cracks at the seams if you drive it much. Also, the rear cover, they mentioned duraflex. The front nose I got for mine (Duraflex) fit like crap. There are other threads on body kits and figure at least 2000 hours of labor if things fit close.
Just sayin..
