Center brake light not working

Hello all,

I've recently put my 1988 trans am back on the road after sitting for a few months. While watching my car being driven onto the alignment lift I noticed that the center brake light was out. Today I went to my local parts store and purchased replacement bulbs however, after installation of the new bulbs, the center brake light still would not light. I am wondering if anyone else has encountered this problem and I am looking for solutions so I can be fully street legal without any complications with law enforcement. If any body has any ideas I would greatly appreciate your feedback. Thank you.

Do the regular brake lights work?

Re: Center brake light not working

Yes both of the main brake lights work. I just went out to check the car and suddenly the center light lit up I guess it was just an issue due to the car sitting for so long.
