Hello 3rd gen members!
37 year old husband/father of 2 daughters finally am in the position to break into the muscle car world. I've been a huge fan of 3 rd generation F bodies since my teenage years. Looking for a drive able street car to run the hills of TN in. Emissions compliance not necessary, originality not absolute but I don't want a hack job or project. I'm pretty handy with a shade tree and my toolbox ( as most TN males are!) but don't want junk or rusty crap.

I prefer an Original IROC, 5.0 or 5.7, 5 spd or Auto (5 spd preferred), but needs to have T - TOPS! Color not important, carb conversions are ok (prefer TPI), and engine swaps are cool too!

Looking to spend around $3000, my absolute budget limit is $4500 for the perfect car. I know I won't get the best selection for my limited budget, but these cars can still be picked up fairly cheap, so don't B.S. me. I've been scouring the ads here and online for a month or so, and I'll be making a definite purchase by mid February. Just throwing out a want ad in case someone has 1 that I've missed during my searches.

Lastly, I'm willing to travel a wee-bit (6-8 hours or so) for the right 1, and I am not limited to IROCS, they are just my fav. The only must haves are a V8 engine and T-Tops. I think it has pretty much everything you are looking for, t-tops, 5.7, TPI, it is auto. No major mods at all. Let me know if you are interested.
