I'm looking to get into the third gen world. I'm definitely planning on heavy mods. With that in mind, is there any point to paying extra for an IROC or Z28? I plan to replace all drive train, suspension, steering anyway.

If your just looking for a shell or tearing it down to a shell .. Then No

thanks. It seems like the RS might be the best place to start, thoughts? Am I correct that the drive train, steering, and suspension are the only differences between the RS and IROC? I'm planning an LS/LT swap. I'm actually looking to see if a full C7 chassis swap is feasible. I'd love to have the rest trans axle.Originally Posted by sodak

I'm looking for a straight car, no accidents, without a bunch of rust. Running and driving really helps. I'm not worried about to much after that.

Link above goes to my SAD Thread, about 3RD Gen F Bodies, listed at PICN-N-PULL, for parts. Some great "Resto Mod" or restoration candidates!
