Radio Light Remains On--Non-thirdgen

The light in the stock radio stays on, even when the ignition is turned off (thus, of course, slowly draining the battery). Suggestions?

Pull the deck out and make sure the 12V constant power and the switchable 12V power wires are connected to the correct wires on the deck.

didn't read that it was stock.

Hey James. This is actually a common problem with Gm factory radios. Wouldn't happen to be a Blazer or Jimmy, even a Safari would it??? The only thing you can really do is repalce it. It cost far to much to repair, and a aftermarket will allow you to have CD. I have ran across this many of times. Change it.

S10 Yeap replace it. I would go with a nice CD player. Now you've got the excuse to buy one, or ask for one for xmas.
