Hi, I am looking for a functional tape mechanism for my 87 formula UX1 radio.

Looking at the internal parts, I see the belts are all there and tight. When I put a tape in, it gets thrown out.

I hope someone can help. I would like to get it working.

Are the drive belts in place and not broken?

Yes the belts are all there and tension is good. I was lucky and found another radio on the net that is the same type and the tape supposidily works. I will exchange modules.
