Anyone have any good tips to stop Holley gaskets from sticking apart from buying the new non stick ones? Is petroleum jelly [Vaseline] any good?

i've heard of using Pam cooking spray. I think permatex might also make something. I havn't tried either one myself.

I've tried some of that stuff, but it never worked completely. I finally got the buna rubber gaskets. They are great, don't stick at all. No more scraping during a jet install. Well worth the money if you take your carb apart very often--reusable.

Petroleum jelly or ordinary grease works well if you don't want to use rubber gaskets.

I found the Advance auto parts carries the blue gaskets. I have had no problem with mine other than the fact that a friend of mine should me how to swap jets the first time and the gasket got a slight wrinkle in it. He tries his best, but it isn't always the best. Just pay attition to details.
