Those of you who switch to carbs, what do you do with the vapor hose that runs from the carb to the canister? Edelbrocks don't have a provision for this except on the pre-1980 model (1400). What about Holley carbs?

If your carb doesn't have a bowl vent, just eliminate the hose.

I don't actually have a carb yet, I just want to find out which ones have the vent besides Q-Jets.

Typically only carbs designed to meet emissions standards have bowl vents. Performance aftermarket carbs usually don't.

I use a holley 670 avenger, so I took the hose that use to go the carb and put one of those small air filters that you can buy at any parts store on the end and tied it off so it is down low out of sight. Since these cars do not use a vented gas cap, you will need to keep this cannister to help from building too much pressure in the gas tank and system. I tried several different ways to eliminate the cannister but they just didn't work too well and this has worked fine for me. The cannister helps reduce gas fumes from the tank. Hope this helps you.

Great idea! I'll try that with my other cars too.
