1. I have a ProComp as well and can attest that the actual billet housing is pretty nice. The electronics may be questionable, I have had some gremlins with mine. May be attributed to the dizzy itself or to other electronic problems with the car, that I cannot say for sure. For $55 its worth a chance
2. Stock HEI should be adequate although a MSD box is always a great upgrade, but not necessary.

Can a msd box be hooked up to a stock hei dist.?is anything removed from the stock dist. to do so?How about pro comp hei with msd box?Sorry for all the questions,I'm not really up on ignitions. Thanks
I have the Procomp HEI dizzy off ebay with the clear cap, in addition to looking very cool, especially at night, while running, I haven't had any sort of issues with it. It appears to be a well constructed unit.
Only problem is now that I have a clear cap, I want to keep it that way when the cap eventually needs replaced. Hope I can find one at that time lol
