Snipe Hunt? AU 2nd rods, J code 2nd hanger
Guy offering tips on my V8 carb tuning, suggest I find some AU secondary metering rods, and a J code secondary metering rod hanger.

Might try your local GM dealer, which is where I purchased my DR rods and G hanger (though several years ago).
EDIT: The following may assist as AU rod specs are provided:

Not sure what the big deal about hangers is... just bend what ya got. Measure em first so you know where you're starting out.
They're a tuning tool anyway; any ones you might get, might or might not be just exactly perfect for your setup, in which case you would ... you would ..... unnnngggggghhhh ..... ,, .. ,,,, ..... ummmm, what?
Bend em.
Don't outsmart yourself over something THAT dirt simple.

Wow, my little QJet secondary rod spreadsheet sure has made the rounds over the years!
I wouldn't bend a QJet secondary hanger when you can buy new ones for so little. Here's a K hanger- just one letter (a few thousandths of an inch) away from the J you're looking for:

You can get them cheaper than that if you look around.
Start out with a set of DR secondary rods almost always. They work great 90% of the time and you can still buy them, to my knowlege, from GM. Part number is in the spreadsheet. Remember they are typically sold individually so you need to make sure you are getting two.

I got lots of parts from a bunch of cars that were on the way to the crusher. grabbed all the carbs I could. big blocks, small blocks Buick Chev Olds and Pontiac. lots of different parts to work with.
