Ok so my vert is 92 so it has the molded carpet in the trunk. I think it looks like crap so I bought plastic side pieces from a vert. I'm having a heck of a time getting them to fit though...I think I got the driver's side in right eventually but I can't for the life of me get the pass side one to fit in properly. I've looked at all the pictures I could from searching, but still haven't been able to figure it out. Could anyone explain in detail how these pieces should go in? Better yet, could you take pictures or even a video - especially of putting in and out the spare tire one? I can give my phone number out if taking video with your phone is easier...
Hope someone can help me out, it's very frustrating!

Just an FYI... The vert pieces and the coupe pieces are the same, ASC simply took a saw and cut the coupe pieces to fit, and added the black trim pieces where the trunk supports were.
There is a slot that the tab goes by your spare tire, if that is not in that slot it usually fits like crap... Since your car has never used the slot before, the slit in the carpet may not be there because its a vert. I am not sure how that worked, I know with the early cars they used the factory carpet, but with the later cars , I want to think they used black carpet on all of them??? I am not 100% on that. At any rate, you may have to pull up the carpet, and find the metal piece where the trim piece slips into. then locate the slot or make your own slot for the trim piece to go thru the carpet.

Okfoz is right about fitment, but here's how I did mine. make card board copies of the hard plastic pieces (including any holes/slots & such) and them cut 'em down from there. some door edge trim will clean up the look around the trunk hinge openings. If you check my build post in Members Firebirds, theres pics of how mine turned out.

Yes, I've been wondering about this! So you can make those plastic rear interior pieces from the coupes fit into our verts? If so, I will start looking for some!

Yup, Like okfoz said, they were used by ASC in some 'verts. Not really hard to fit in, just take your time.
