help w/ cooling fans

i want to re-wire my fans so that they stay on instead of turning on at 220.....any specific details i should pay attention to when i wire it up, or just splice into a wire activated by the ignition? thanks!

You could just make a toggle switch for it, I have one for mine I turn it on even if I'm going on highways. Just don't forget to turn it on, I did that once Lol

You don't splice into any wire that is activated by the ignition. The positive side of the fan relay is always "hot" with the ignition on, The ecm just grounds the relay to turn on the fan. To turn the fan on anytime the ignition is on, you ground the relay. If you don't want the fan on all of the time, ground it through a toggle switch.
