my l69 single fan carbed h.o. engine has no more xcomputer in it at all, My a.c. switch will turn on the fan, as it should, I want to hook up a manual switch seperate from the ac control on the dash. I dont have a problem using a manual switch to kick this single fan on when needed on occasion, the car doesnt overheat that much. How would I hook up a simple toggle switch and intergrate it into the two wire plug-in going into this single 16" fan? Like I said before, Ive no computer running anything on this car including the trans. any help on this would be greatly appreciated so I can get it done before cruising season starts soon.

what kinda relay?
Thanks for the diagram, I printed it. Im curious tho- Forshock,, am I using the existing relay for the a.c. or a whole seperate one? It seems a new one completely and if so what type and where to get it? Also I could probably use the existing plug in that goes into the fan, providing I cut it and incorporate it into the wiring diagram you sent me, right?

You can use the same relay. Can't remember which color wire (green maybe, or green white stripe), but turn the ignition to the on position, and probe the wire with a test light and the fan should come on. I used a 2 position switch. Connected one wire to ground and the other to the relay. Hit the switch and the fan comes on.

I didnt have an AC relay to use so i had to get one. If your ac relay works, just us the switch setup into the existing relay.
