My fans don't come on when the AC is turned on. And I have yet to actually see them work. The car doesn't overheat and runs at a normal temp, but at lights it will hit the 220* mark then gradually stay a bit below that until the next light.
What is the problem most likely, the fan switch or the motors? I would like the fans to stay on as soon as the car is turned on, how do I do that? My old '85 Trans Am's fans were like that and it stayed really cool.

I would lean more toward the relay being out. Try hot wiring your
fan to see if it comes on with just direct battery power. Mine used
to do exactly what yours is doing, until I put a set of Spal dual fans
on running off a Hypertech 170 switch. I did away with my o.e.
relays, and I'm running 2 bosch 40 amp 5-pin relays. Now it has
to sit at a light for an awful long time to get to 180.
