I just got my exhaust don eon my 89 ta, flowmaster 40 series, full length headers, etc..The car was running great, drove it the day I got my exhaust done. I decided I'd take my car to school the next day (btw it has a 400 small block, just rebuilt) so i went and started my car, and let it run for 5 minutes, since i twas cold out. I came out to see something like smoke coming from the hood and I figured it was my header paint, so I lifte dup my hood to turn down my headlights anyway since it was daytime, and saw my engine coolant resivour tank boiling and spitting stuff out the top of the lid. I quickly shut off the car and no more than three seconds later a really loud explosion happened, steam went everywhere..I later found that my top radiator hose to the waterneck blew, not just split it, but blew it into two pieces and trashed the hose..I checked the thermostat, it wasnt frozen, replaced that, new hose, checked radiator for blocks in it but it flows fine. I ran the car, runs fine, as I let it idle i took the radiator cap off and eventually it starts to pour some fluid out the top of the cap, if you put more in it pours it out and sucks it back down in the radiaotr..it looks like theres a little bit of air in the water too..I have no gauges to tell me how hot the car is getting. Im almost betting the head gaskets are blown, which will suck..or something more. ANy ideas

I have mine under the hood at all times, using the cheap mounting brackets it came with. Good for when im under the hood. Also found out that my gauge read 220+ when its actually 190 water temp.
