SO heres the deal, when I bought my car the fan was hooked up to a manual switch connected to the dash, that is one of the things ive really disliked about it. (305 TBI)

Anyways I found a single Fan setup sitting at a junkyard wiring intact(TPI) and I am unsure how much or what wiring I need to get and what I need to look for to bring it home and wire it back to where it kicks on automatically...

Any help is much appreciated

Here's a troubleshooting guide to fan issues: http://www.austinthirdgen.org/index.php?pid=36

Here's the wiring diags: http://www.austinthirdgen.org/index.php?pid=19

If you can't find the OEM fan wiring (ie previous owner hacked it all up or out), your easiest course of action is to buy a seperate fan controller - they range from $30 - $100+, but they are easy to wire. They use none of the factory parts. I have a $100 Flex-a-lite controller from Sumit Racing - best thing I ever bought. Has adjustable on/off temps, works with A/C system, has options for always on/always off switches, easy to wire - took about 1 hour install time. Autozone/Advance/Oreily's has different models/brands available on the shelf as well.
