I had an engine fire in my camaro so I went ahead and did a whole bunch of crap too it. When I was disconnecting the harness from the ECM and I dropped the ECM I noticed the service # had been ripped off, all thats left of it is "122" which really doesn't help. I do however have another camaro ECM that reads "1227169", should I put that one in or leave in the mysterious one?
I believe the previous engine was an LG4, I'll check the VIN when I get a can of compressed air. The bastard that owned the car before me somehow managed to drop a business card over half of it.
Also, anyone know what year the "1227169" would have came off of?

My 86' Monte SS has (had) that one. It was the L69, not sure if they used it on the LG4 or not. The link above should narrow that down for you.
