I finally got around to datalogging last week after installing a new engine in the IROC and have a couple questions.
For reference, stock 165 computer, TunerPro RT, using 6E.xdf and 1227165-160baud.ads
1). I created an .adl file to record my runs. When I was done I exported those and also copied the .adl file and renamed it with .bin at the end. Is that an acceptable way to see the spark advance and maf tables?
2). The engine was rebuilt with a LT4 Hot Cam and I'm a little confused as what to do. When I looked at the bin file I created from the .adl file it showed the maf table all over the place. I understand that the cam will greatly reduce the vacuum thus requiring tuning to the maf tables but where do I start. I've searched the internet and cannot find a modified ARAP bin showing the changes made to accomodate the LT4 cam. I'm really just looking for something to use as reference.
I plan on burning a chip this week to help my lean condition (BLM's up to 154 at idle) but I want to make sure I fully understand what I'm looking at so I don't make it worse
I will also try to increase the fuel pressure a little but it's already at 48psi at idle.

Simply renaming the .ADL file, which is a datalog, to .BIN does not make a bin file.
You need to read your chip to get the bin. Or download a copy from the Net somewhere. In order to determine which BCC to download, you need to crack open your ECM and look at the four letters on the chip itself.
Use the .ADL to playback your data logging session. Do not rename file extensions. A file extension does not a file make.
