Using Tuner Pro. I need to verify how this works. The item is
"Loop Closed Enable Hot Temp Threshold"
Judging from the name on this (730, 8D). I assume that this is the high temperature that will cause the system to go back into open loop. Put another way, this is the upper temperature limit for CL. Is that correct?
Thanks

Nope. It's the temp a "hot" or fully warmed up engine needs to get to on a restart before it will go into closed loop again.
Thanks for the help. Does anyone have this kind of information for all the items in 8D?
It sure would be nice to have full documentation instead of guessing or having to ask...
Thanks again.

Not yet, the xdf is slowly getting filled in over time so the comments section will give info like that.
But currently, you have to go through the hac and see when it's used.

I'm using the hack from Moates.net... It shows some of the same mistakes that are in the xdf. That is probably why they are so slow to get corrected.
Eventually I'm going to have to figure out how to do the whole binary to hex to reading the program thing. But right now I need to concentrate on my project.

There is a better hack on Moates. Look for JP_AUJP or some such in the file name. I forget what JP called it. There are two versions also IIRC. It still has some of the mistakes though. And a more complete xdf will be out soon. If we ever get more time to work on this stuff.
There's a knack to going through the hack too. Using a search function on it is very helpful. Once you get a copy of the assembly command definitions, some people can work their way through in a hap hazard way and figure some things out.

I looked around Moates... can't seem to find the xdf you mentioned. When you get time could you point me in the right direction or perhaps send me an email with that file? Thanks
I'm renaming items and adding comments to my xdf file (as I learn things). How long do you think it will be before another version comes out? If you think it will be within the next month or so, perhaps I will wait. On the other hand, maybe I can send you my xdf to see if that will help contribute to the project?

I'm not working on the xdf. But we hope to have everything out in a month or less. We might have to resort to 15 minute here and there to get things done.
