new headlight motors, did I screw up, help fast

ok so I go to a yard and rip out 2 motors, take them home and the wireing harness doesn't match, the motor in my car has 2 wires, but the motors I bought have 3 wires, can I make them work, help please.

anyone? both cars were equiped with modulators if that helps, my car has the small motors that suck, and the ones I got are the better(in my opinion) bigger ones, they are both 87 trans ams, why does mine only have 2 wires instead of three, help

You got the motors out of an 86-earlier model,,, They can work,, but I don't think you want to go thru the trouble of trying that.

The 86-earlier had the module similar to 87 & up but, each light motor(86-earlier) had a seperate relay (fiero's motors are the same) to actuate it thus, the 3 wires. I'd draw you a diagram to go with the other I did so you could compare but(I'm not), it's too late & I'm doing good to see right now

so I need a relay for each motor or can I just leave the third wire unplugged.

thanks for the advise but someone came up with a better idea then wiring up relays. someone on the third gen mailing list told me all I have to do is wire the 2 hot wires together, so I did. the two power wires go into the one side of the power connector and the ground into the other. I did it and it works perfect. great up and down action. thanks for all the help.
