want to go to a power antenna on my 89 formula, someone gave me the assembaly, it has 2 wires comming off of it. how does it wire up with an aftermarket head unit

The head units have a connection for the antenna, you need the had unit instructions and wiring. Before trying to fit the antenna, check it is long unit, normal ones wont fit.

my power antenna hooked up to my aftermarket headunit, if your doesnt fit you might just need like a 10 dollar adapter to mate it together... you can hook on of the wires to the headunto so that the antenna go up only when the headunti is on, just like the stock units did..
