i swear, if it ain't one thing, it's another... putting all the crap back together in my car after having it torn apart chasing electrons, and now (after it IS back together) the locks will not unlock by way of the switch on the door - only by the keyfob for the alarm. AND with doors open, once the key is turned, it will lock the doors. didn't notice that til i found myself locked out with the engine running. but before you laugh too hard, i was at home so had the extra keys. anyways, the keyfob will lock and unlock them all day long. also, when i use the door switch to lock the doors, it only does it half-assed, doesn't have a full "punch" to it. any ideas before i tear it all open again? there are 2 relays with the alarm, also. i'm gonna try and figure it out by the wiring diagram for the alarm, but damn the bad luck. almost ready to put this thing back on the road, and now this. help...

well, found the problem today. it was a broken ground wire on the door lock relay itself. where the alarm installer had tapped it, it eventually weakened and broke. didn't have much wire to work with, but got 'er fixed, so it all works as advertised now. couple of more things to finish up and we're rolling...
