Hi!

Was in the garage tonight and I noticed that one of the connections on the AC compressor was almost busted. (The one on the top/front) The AC is working flawless but this connector cannot be good to have, So I want to replace it with a new one. Anyone know where I can find a new connector?

Here's a picture of the one I mean:

I never touched it during my 7years owning this car, I noticed today that the plastic shrinkcover/ducttape (yes they used that stock to keep the diode to loosen...) looked wierd so I opened it up and found this....

So where can I get a new one ?

Thanks in advance :-)

Re: AC Pump/Compressor connector
God Bless I found it on tpiparts : http://tpiparts.net/inc/sdetail/8322

But the necessary diode isnt included from tpiparts, is it just to measure the old diode and get a new one ? any special type of diode ?

EZ - AC
There’s a whole list of applicable diodes.

One of the most commonly available is the 1N4007.

Available in most electronics parts stores.

That will work fine.

You need to observe polarity.

There’s a stripe on the cathode end.

That end needs to connect to the positive side.
