Hello all,
Quick question. I have converted to heated O2 sensors on my LT1. According to this diagram, a 10 amp fuse should support both sensors - it does not, it blows as soon as I turn the key to start. Now, this guy here has this wired up with a 30 amp fuse. I tried it briefly, and the fuse didn't blow, so I'm on to something here. I want to make sure that this should be ok.
Now finally, according to this, 16 gauge wiring should be ok to carry 30 amps. Maybe its just me, but does this seem to be way too small to carry the load? Any advice is appreciated!

Im not sure what the proper amp draw is for the 02 sensor, but if its 30amp I would run 14 guage for less than 5' length of wire or 12 guage for more than 5' lenght of wire.
