what would someone need to get this motor running?

Z28 Metal Head, Give me some idea what you think this is worth and i'll let you know if I want it.
I would make an offer, but it seems like buyers and sellers are far off these days. I'm not looking to ruffle any feathers, but I have seen some sellers wanting $3,000+ for junk and some selling good stuff for $500, so the prices of these don't seem locked down at all yet to me.

Honestly, before I put any USED engine I buy, from anywhere, into my car, I will tear it down and it will be sent off to a maching shop first, so for real value, it would have to be fairly priced. That is a lot of work to drop it in and hope everything is ok on any internet bought engine.

Not trying to be a hard ***. I have driven hundreds of miles to look at junk already, so i' m done with that. LOL

not going to step on anyones toes who have been here first.. but yeah.. we need to know what your looking to get out of it before we just start barking out offers. I have an LT1 stroker just the short block completly rebuilt I'd be willing to trade. Mahle pistons, cc306, pro gear timing chain. I have $2000 in the motor as it sits. let me know what u think.

What does no response mean? Is it sold... or is it junk?
