Hello,
I spliced in an extension this evening. As predicted I blew fluid out of one of the connections. Any tricks or trials that have proven effective with rubber housing? The hose will hold the pressure but standard hose clamps don't seem to do the job. The return line was not a problem I just ran a long piece from one side to the other.
Later,
Gus

The pressure side of the system has extremely high pressure. I would call around and find someone that can make a custom pressure line for you. You can use high pressure braided line and fittings but it can get very expensive. You might want to call around to shops that work on heavy equipment, such as semis, tractors or farm implements. They will usually have the required tooling to get the job done, and they shouldn't kill on the price.
Good luck.
