91 camaro, 355sbc, svt cobra t56???

Hey everyone, Ive recently decided against sellin my camaro, and now have a chance to take a step further to the completion stage of the car. I've found a local guy who has a t56 from a 03 svt cobra built to viper spec, mirrors d&d performance t56, capable of handling 700ft lbs. Fresh off complete build. It already comes with an fbody yoke on the tail shaft, so he says, I'm wondering what is all involved with this setup to my engine? The engine is a 74 4bm block. Also, I plan to use the 4th gen dash/console as well, with autometer gauges instead of stock cluster. I need a tranny capable if handling that much power as I plan to put a blower on it when funds are available. Any insight to this, or anyone that has done or tried the swap, any info would be greatly appreciated. I'm told all I need is an lt1 bellhousing to mate the two together? :S

you would need an lt1 input shaft, front plate, bellhousing, clutch hydraulics, a custom flywheel for a 2 pc rear main seal, and a clutch. It would be much more costr effective to buy a stock lt1 t56 conversion from someone and just get the correct flywheel/clutch. I have seen many stock t56s handle over 600whp for long periods of time. I wouldn't pay alot extra for a "built" one when you currently don't have that kind of power. a stock one will be fine and can take alot of abuse.
