the compression ratio is a little steep so i might go with the deep dish pistons and change the cc ratio on the heads. am i missing anything besids the cam? ( pick one for me ). hope to put this on a 383 with a 150hp shot of nos (max) sometime soon. would you make any changes?

i think your getting in a little over your head for a first rebuild, unless you have someone helping you that knows what there doing it might be a better idea to do a more mild cheaper build to get the hang of things.

thanks for your concern, but the guys helping me with this are provincial points leaders for like the last 5 years in circle track racing. they have a little bit of experience. i was looking to see if this combo will hold up and how much power is expected.
